Who are you, oh Sadguru?
Who are thy blessed parents oh Guru some asked,
Brahma is my father and Maya my mother to some he said
To some more he said he was the blessed son of a Brahmin couple
Who handed him over to a divine fakir when young
Who is thy Sadguru, oh lord of all creatures some asked
Venkusa he said to some
To some he said Roshan Shah Mia
And to some he merely said it was the fakir
What is reality some asked
To which "Allah Malik" is what he said
To some it is Brahman he said
To some others, look within he said
People have tried in vain
Information about your origin to gain
Only to realize that there is no beginning
Nor is there any ending
There is only one answer that they had
That you are none other than god
You alone are reality, all else an illusion
He who realizes this, is rid of all confusion
The Sadguru's feet alone is the source of all happiness
Seeking anything anywhere else is meaningless
Let me always remember you in my mind
Reside in my heart and may you ever be towards me kind
-- Dedicated to the lotus feet of the Sadguru
