A leela of Sadguru Sainath!

Om Jai Sairam! Wonderful are the leelas (divine play) of Sadguru Sainath! There is no beginning or end to them. They are by his own nature, poorna (Infinite) and Sadguru Sainath is poorna Brahma (The infinite god or Brahman). Fortunate are we, who get the opportunity to listen to leelas of Sadguru Sainath. They are verily nectar to the ears. I would, by the grace of Sainath, like to describe a wonderful leela which happened to a person here, and was narrated to me by my father.

A friend of our family happens to be a great Sai devotee. Her brother lives in New Jersy. I do not know the name of her brother, but it was he who experienced a sweet leela of Sainath.

This person lives alone in New Jersy, and because of that he brought a little puppy home. He looks after the pup with lot of love and care. But he is forced to leave it alone and go to work. On one such day, just a few days after getting the pup, he had gone to work. On that day a terrible storm blew over New Jersy. There were heavy rains, and frightening claps of thunder. This made the man terribly worried. There was his pup, all alone at home, and it was a very little pup at that, hardly a month or two old. He was worried that it might get terribly frightened and in the process, without knowing, might hurt itself. There was no way that he could go home, because of the work that he had, and also because of the weather. It would be foolishness to leave the office in such a weather. Then he turned to Sagun Parabrahma Sainath for aid. He prayed to Sai Baba, and in his anguish, wrote a letter right there, where he said "Oh Sainath! Oh deva, you are the one and only one who can help me. You have always cast your merciful glance towards me. I beg you, your dog, is alone at home. He is too little to understand anything and will be terribly frightened by this storm. Please stop this storm for his sake". No sooner had he prayed thus, the rain and thunder abated, the clouds started drifting away, and within no time, it was bright and sunny. The people in the company were flabbergasted, and started talking amongst themselves thus "How strange it is that this storm should abate so soon. I have never seen such a brief thunder storm." The man was overwhelmed by this, and tears of gratitude flowed down his cheeks, and his hair stood on it's ends and his throat was choked. He went home to find the pup safe and sound, and immediately called his sister in Bangalore and told her all about the leelas of Sainath. And by Sainath's grace, my father met the person's sister at the paper evaluation for second year pre university in Bangalore. My father narrated this incident to me, when I spoke to him. I was pleased beyond description, and it became my heartfelt desire to sing Sainath's glory and leelas.

Blessed are the bhakthas who resort to the feet of Sadguru Sainath. As Sainath has proven again and again by his leelas, that he pervades all animals, be they cats, dogs, birds, insects etc. Whatever Sadguru Sai begged, he kept in a Kolamba or pot. Cats, dogs and birds used to come and take whatever they desired. Sainath never shooed them away. He shared whatever food he had with any being that came across. He told his bhakthas again and again, that he pervades all, the living and the non living. Praise be to Sadguru Sainath.

Anantha Koti Brahmanda Nayaka Rajadhiraja Yogiraja Parabrahma Shree SatChitAnanda Sadguru Sainath Maharaj Ki Jai!

Bow to Shree Sai. Peace be to all.
